Happy Monday, all! We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day this weekend. Whether a first-time mommy or a grandmother of 15, this is a day where all moms should be especially appreciated.
That’s the idea that amateur photographer Dayna Camp had in mind when she spent Saturday at a homeless shelter, taking portraits of families who have been left without a home due to unemployment. A new mom herself, Camp was aware of how special the day was, and hoped that her portraits would give others a way to make the occasion memorable even if they couldn’t afford a fancy meal out or an elaborate gift to present to the mothers in their lives; judging from the appreciation and gratitude of the families, her goal was definitely achieved.
